The Rhino Conservation Awards 2019 celebrated just some of the many heroes in African Conservation on the 21st of July 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa. A special thanks to the RCAs patron, His Supreme Highness, Prince Albert II of Monaco, who attended the event.
The Game Rangers Association of Africa held its annual Golf Day at Parkview Golf Course, Johannesburg, South Africa on 16 August. R354 000 was raised at this 9th annual event. These funds will be able to train approximately 35 rangers from across Africa in specialised skills - a much needed resource today.
The GRAA KZN Region held its last AGM in April 2019. The region joins the GRAA SA Chapter going forward.

The GRAA hosted our 8th annual Golf Benefit Day on 12 October 2018 and raised R 290 210 towards our Ranger Training Bursary Fund which provides specialised skills training to assist rangers protect wildlife and wild places.

Working in conjunction with The Game Ranger's Association of Africa (GRAA), Currin't Events managed The Rhino Conservation Awards which were established to recognise those people who dedicate themselves in the fight against rhino poaching in South Africa.
The Award which is endorsed by The Department of Environmental Affairs, is sponsored jointly by Hasselblad Cameras and Ms Xiaoyang Yu, Founding Partner of China New Enterprise Investment (CNEI), a China focused growth capital fund with the aim to increase capture and prosecution of poachers and to cut demand for rhino horn.
